A candlelight vigil for two slain New York City police officers.<br /> <br />On Saturday, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu were ambushed by a gunman -- 28-year old Ismaaiyl Brinsley -- as they sat in their car.<br /> <br />Brinsley then killed himself.<br /> <br />Authorities say it may have been a revenge attack for recent police killings of unarmed black men.<br /> <br />As Officer Liu's family grieved privately...<br /> <br />...Officer Ramos' family came out to thank supporters and remember their loved one.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) OFFICER RAMOS' COUSIN, RONNIE GONZALES, SAYING:<br /> <br />"He loved his job. He loved his wife. He was a dedicated father. And I wish I could be half the man my cousin was. Really."<br /> <br />On Sunday afternoon, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo met with Ramos' 13-year-old son Jaden.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) NEW YORK GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO SAYING:<br /> <br />"His son said to me, why? Why my dad? What did my dad do wrong? His father did nothing wrong he was a beautiful public servant."
