U.S. President Barack Obama and his family went hiking while on vacation in Hawaii on Tuesday (December 23).<br/> <br />Obama and his daughter Malia, accompanied by some friends and security entourage, trekked in the mountains on the island of Oahu.<br/> <br />The Obama family is on a roughly two-week vacation before returning to Washington, D.C. on January 4th.<br/> <br />Obama was born and grew up in Hawaii, and is expected to play golf and spend time with his family while there, among other things.
