But it spread from shop to shop and warehouses and then engulfed the residential buildings."<br/> <br />Some witnesses said fire crews had trouble reaching the scene because they couldn't find a way through the heavily-congested area.<br/> <br />The flames could be seen for miles across the city early on Sunday.<br/> <br />The cause of the blaze wasn't immediately known.
