Virgin Atlantic Jet Makes Emergency Landing After Technical Fault

<p>A Virgin Atlantic jet circled the southeast coast of England with a technical fault on Monday, December 29. According to <a class="link" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://news.sky.com/story/1399293/virgin-confirms-fault-on-plane-circling-over-uk" target="_blank">Sky News</a>, flight VS43 took off at 11:44am from London’s Gatwick Airport and was heading to Las Vegas before experiencing a fault with its landing gear.</p><p>The jet was circling at an altitude of 1,600 meters over Newhaven, East Sussex, according to flight tracking website <a class="link" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.flightradar24.com/VIR43E/526ac78" target="_blank">FlightRadar24</a> before landing safely shortly after 15:45 GMT at Gatwick again.
