TV9 News: Bengaluru Blast Victim's Body To Be Cremated in Chennai 'Today'..., <br /> <br />CHENNAI: The dead body of a 37-year-old woman who was killed in a blast in Bengaluru on Sunday was being brought to Chennai by road on Monday evening. <br /> <br />An ambulance carrying the body of B Bhavani was expected to reach her house in the Boobegum Street at Border Thottam here by 10pm, her relatives said. <br /> <br />They said the body would be cremated on Tuesday morning. <br /> <br />Bhavani's body was handed over to her husband, Balan, after postmortem on Monday. Balan runs a tyre business at Border Thottam off General Patters Road in Chennai. <br /> <br />Bhavani suffered severe injuries when a low intensity bomb went off outside a restaurant on Church Street in Bengaluru on Sunday evening. She was returning with her family after having dinner when the blast happened. She died at a hospital on Sunday night. <br /> <br />Her son, Bharat Narayanan, and daughter, Lakshmi Devi, were also with her when the blast happened. However, they escaped as they were walking a few steps behind her. <br /> <br />Lakshmi is studying in Class 6 and Bharat Narayanan is studying in Class 10 at DAV Senior Secondary School in Gopalapuram. <br /> <br />"They lived in a cramped house sharing space with Balan's elder brother Natarajan, who is also into tyre business," a relative, R Suresh Kumar, said. Suresh Kumar is the son of Raja, who is the elder brother of Bhavani's husband. <br /> <br />Bhavani and her children went to Bangalore to visit a relative. They stayed at the relative's house in Sivaji Nagar. <br /> <br />"As they didn't get their return train tickets confirmed, they postponed their travel and we lost our aunt (Bhavani)," said Suresh Kumar.
