Afghanistan's army and police have now officially taken over security duties from NATO forces.<br /><br />President Ashraf Ghani has called on Afghan forces to defend the country from the Taliban. <br /><br />His call came after a stray bomb - fired by the Afghan army - killed 26 women and children at a wedding party.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jennifer Glasse reports from Kabul.
