From the ground...<br/> <br />...and the air, firefighters are battling a bushfires in south Australia.<br/> <br />Temperatures are expected to soar in the area on Tuesday and Wednesday so they're trying to get the upper hand before weather conditions worsen in the Adelaide Hills.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(English) SOUTH AUSTRALIA COUNTRY FIRE SERVICE CHIEF OFFICER GREG NETTLETON SAYING:<br/> <br />"Our intention is to put as much as we possibly can into the fire-affected area so that when the weather comes through on Wednesday we've got lots of resources there. So that's pretty much a summary of where we are at but certainly we are starting to make some significant progress to get people back into those areas."<br/> <br />At least 20 homes already have been destroyed and dozens of families have been evacuated.
