The nominations for the Producers Guild Awards have been announced and "Birdman" was among the 10 films listed for their top honor. The film, which stars Michael Keaton as a former Hollywood star trying to revive his career on the stage, has been a frontrunner in the awards season race. Among the other films listed were Richard Linklater's "Boyhood" and Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel."<br/> <br />Clint Eastwood's portrayal of an Iraq war hero in "American Sniper" made the list, as did two British biopics, "The Imitation Game" and "The Theory of Everything."<br/> <br />The Producers Guild is often seen as an early prognosticator to the Oscar best picture winner - which may not be good news for the Martin Luther King, Jr. film "Selma," which did not get a nomination. Also absent from the list was Angelina Jolie's "Unbroken."<br/> <br />The Producers Guild hands out its awards on January 24.
