ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />A gunman fatally shot one person and then killed himself in an incident on Tuesday (January 6) at a U.S. Army facility in El Paso, Texas, a senior U.S. Army official said.<br/> <br />The names of those who died were not released. The shootings took place at a VA hospital at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in west Texas.<br/> <br />"All other VA patients and staff are safe," said Fort Bliss Commanding General Stephen Twitty.<br/> <br />"This is an active crime scene and the shooting incident is under investigation," he added.
