This toy was created by Don Poynter of Poynter Products Inc. of Cincinnati OH, back in 1975. His company, sadly no longer in existence, created a range of wonderful and inventive toys. <br /> <br />We are no longer certain what the original name was for this toy, so we have christened it the 'automatic butler'. Press the top of the box and a hand appears from inside, holding a small bottle. The hand then pours a small measure into the waiting glass, and then vanishes inside the box again. <br /> <br />There is a resevoir inside the box, so you can fill it with whatever liquid you choose. The amount poured is quite small - more a measure of whisky than a large beer! <br /> <br />Like many toys, this was produced for a short time, and then discontinued.
