Reportedly, Toyota launched the Fortuner with a smaller engine of 2.5-litre diesel. The unit being borrowed from the Innova, is tweaked to deliver more power. <br />Meanwhile, on the cosmetic side, there comes the standard sporty body kit from TRD which contributes to dual-tone front grille, rear spoiler and more. In comparison to the top-end automatic variant and this smaller one, it’s only a matter of headlamp and voice navigation reduced from the list. <br />However, the SUV now weighs less, and is available only in two paint shades of white and silver. <br />Over its drivetrain, the options of manual as well as automatic both are given, but only the 4x2 option is available, no 4x4. <br />Hence, there isn’t a huge difference in pricing between the earlier Fortuner and this new one.
