Favorite food of many Maharashtrians, Zunka is a traditional authentic recipe which tastes best with Bhakri. Zunka is a dry Gram Flour preparation and the best part is that it can be made in just 10 minutes! <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />150 gms Gram Flour <br />1 tbsp Mix Masala <br />2 Onions <br />1 Spring Onion <br />1 inch Ginger <br />12 to 15 cloves Garlic <br />1/4th tsp Turmeric <br />1/4th tsp Asafoetida <br />Coriander as required <br />Salt as per taste <br />4 tsp Oil <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once the mustard seeds start spluttering, add ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves, onion, salt, turmeric powder & mix masala. Let all the ingredients cook for some time. <br />-Add spring onion and mix well. It enhances the taste of Zunka. <br />-Add gram flour & mix well. Make sure there are no lumps. <br />-Add little water to keep the Zunka moist.
