French police have arrested two people after a motorist injured a policewoman outside President Francois Hollande’s official residence in Paris. <br /><br /> Some eyewitnesses say a car was driving the wrong way down a one way street and deliberately targeted the officer.<br /><br /> The incident occured last night outside the back of the Elysee Palace. France is on high security alert after three days of violence last week.<br /><br /> Police say it appears to be unconnected to the tragic events during which 17 people were killed in attacks by suspected Islamic militants.
