‘American Sniper’ is based on the autobiography of US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, known as the most lethal sniper in US military history.<br /><br /> Having served in the Iraq war, Kyle was rewarded for acts of heroism in combat for saving lives on the battlefield. <br /><br /> US actor Bradley Cooper plays the lead character: “The fact that you’re basically putting the trust of his family in your hands to tell this man’s story, their family members’ story, so I’d say a lot of pressure that I put on myself. And so I should because it’s a huge honour to be able to play this man,” he said at the film’s premiere in New York. <br /><br /> Taya Kyle, Chris Kyle’s real-life wife attended the film’s New York premiere. <br /><br /> “I feel happy to see it because I love our love story, and I love him.
