Twelve-year-old Diana Marcela Baquero Avila may seem like your average Colombian pre-teen, but she has an unusual passion. <br /> <br />Diana Marcela Baquero Avila (Spanish) "I feel strength when I drive the truck. I like driving the truck." <br /> <br />Little Diana is obsessed with big rigs, semi-trucks, long haulers, lorries – whatever you call them, she absolutely adores them and wants nothing more than to drive them. <br /> <br />She has learned all the ins and outs of the trucking business and has even spent the last 4 years learning how to drive the big rigs. <br /> <br />Diana demonstrated her semi skills in the Colombian city of Villavicencio, checking the rig before getting in and revving up the engine. <br /> <br />Although driving a lorry is far from easy and most countries usually require years of additional training and courses to get a lorry license, Diana’s reasons for driving are as simple as it gets. <br /> <br />Diana Marcela Baquero Avila (Spanish) "I drive because I like to travel, meet new people and use the horn." <br /> <br />Diana Marcela Baquero Avila (Spanish) "When I get in the truck I feel relieved, I feel great in the truck, for me it's the best." <br /> <br />Growing up and finding a career you love is a challenge for most people, but Diana seems to have already made her mind up about the lorry lifestyle. <br /> <br />The legal minimum age for a driving license in Colombia is 16 years old, which means Diana has only 4 years left to go before she can legally hit the road with her load for the long haul.
