The Japanese government says it is in a race against time to try to save two hostages held by ISIL .<br /><br />A video released on Tuesday, appears to show fighters threatening to kill the men if they don't receive a 200 million dollar ransom.<br /> <br />The deadline for the payment is believed to expire early on Friday.<br /> <br /> Al Jazeera's Harry Fawcett reports from Tokyo.
