First; please excuse the "huffing and puffing." The Amtrak website was down until 6 this morning, and the train is scheduled for 5:20. So...I drove 15 mi. out here and waited until 7. No train. I drove to Topeka, and the Stationmaster said there is a detour out West somewhere, and the train would be there in 15 min. I drove back out to my "spot," and when I pulled up, the signal was already yellow. I had to "make tracks" as far as I <br />could get before it went red. I made a quarter mile or so before I had to get out of the way and <br />get the video. The engineer stayed on the horn from the crossing to my position, so you could hear the sweet sound of the K5LA. Thanks!
