Fresh shelling by pro-Russian separatists has been reported in government-held Mariupol in eastern Ukraine.<br /><br /> Local officials say fifteen people have been killed. But pro-Russian separatists denied targeting the city.<br /><br /> Mariupol lies on the edge of two rebel-controlled regions and on the Sea of Azov – a coastal route from the Russian border to Crimea which was annexed by Moscow last March.<br /><br /> Local police say many people were injured in the latest attacks with several fires caused by rockets hitting a multi-storey building.<br /><br /> Over the past two weeks, there’s been a surge in fighting between government forces and rebels with more than 250 people killed.
