Burgers are the greatest, aren’t they? And, it turns out, they’re pretty easy to make at home. Today, we’re going to show you how to make kick-ass, spicy, turkey burgers that are every bit as awesome as your standard beef variety. But with less saturated fat and stuff. So today Noah’s going to school you in making Turkey Burgers that aren’t lame and disappointing. He’s the best that way?<br /><br />Did you enjoy this recipe? Slackers.<br /><br />For Sauce:<br />1 cup Greek Yogurt (150 g)<br />5 Chipotle Peppers, Chopped<br />1 Tablespoon Lime Juice (15mL)<br />1/2 tsp salt (~3g)<br /><br />Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir together, and let sit to let flavors combine as you make the rest of the dish.<br /><br />For Turkey Patties:<br />2 pounds ground dark meat turkey (Not the super-lean breast - that’ll be dry) (907g)<br />2 cloves Garlic, Chopped<br />1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Oregano (2.25 g or 15 mL)<br />4 Tsp Lime Juice (70 mL)<br />2 Tablespooons (ish) Adobo Sauce from a can of Chipotle Peppers (35 mL-ish)<br /><br />Mix together by hand, form into about 5 patties. They should be about a hand’s width thick. sprinkle with salt and pepper. <br />Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to the bottom of the pain to coat. Cook 4-5 minute per size. <br /><br />Lightly toast the burger bun of your choice.<br /><br />For Toppings (RUSTIC Toppings), you’ll need for 5 burgers:<br />1 can Pickled Jalepenos<br />1 White Onion<br />2 Avocado<br />Lettuce<br />^ This stuff is kinda your preference - add as much or as little as you like.
