Safety is of particular concern in Turkey, where a workers' rights group said construction sites and mines are the most dangerous in Europe.<br /><br />According to Turkey’s Workers Health Assembly, at least 1,886 people were killed in workplace accidents in 2014.<br /><br />In response, the government has introduced new legislation with heavy fines and jail time for employers who allow accidents to happen.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Bernard Smith reports from Istanbul.
