A man armed with a pistol has entered the studies of the Dutch national broadcaster NOS and demanded to allowed on air.<br /><br /> He was confronted by armed police and forced to drop his weapon. <br /><br /> It is believed the man threatened a guard to gain access to the studios based in Hilversum near Amsterdam. <br /><br /> His motive remains unclear, but the footage shows him saying “ The things that are going to be said, are very large world affairs. We were hired by the security services.”<br /><br /> No shots were fired in the incident and the man is in police detention.
