Rap music producer Suge Knight is likely to spend the weekend in police custody following a fatal hit and run in Los Angeles.<br /><br /> Police said he ran over two people with a pick up truck at a fast food restaurant, killing one and injuring the other before fleeing.<br /><br /> Knight surrendered to police with his solicitor to take questions from homicide detectives, according to the LA County Sheriff’s Department. He was later arrested.<br /><br /> Knight’s Death Row Records was a top record label in the ’90s featuring artists such as MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Tupac Shakur and Dr. Dre.<br /><br /> Knight’s hip-hop empire declined after he was imprisoned for a parole violation. Tupac was shot dead and Dr. Dre left the label.
