Interview of Lindsey Vonn after her Downhill Run in Beaver Creek!

Translation:
Interviewer: The World Championships ended with a disappointment for you. What was the reason that you couldn’t bring your great form from this Season to the World Championships?
Lindsey: It’s a difficult course. I didn’t ski the World Cup here last year. I only trained Super G here and no Downhill. Snow was different in the Training Runs. I fought but it wasn’t enough and it’s a pity for the Fans. It’s a World Championships in my hometown and I wanted to make more for my family and the crowd. But I’ve two more disciplines and hopefully I can make something there.
Interviewer: Was it the pressure which was so high at the World Championships to ski well?
Lindsey: I fought and I was focused at the start as normal. I gave everything but i didn’t find the right line. I was to late sometimes and didn’t take the speed to the finish. That happens in ski racing. I had high hopes but unforunately it didn’t work out.
Interviewer: You said you have two more disciplines that means we’ll see you in the Super Combine again?
Lindsey: Yeah sure. I’ll train some Slalom tomorrow. I haven’t skied Slalom for 2 and a half years. I don’t know if I can ski good or not but i’ll try to make a miracle.
Interviewer: Good Luck for that.
Lindsey: Thanks.
