Eurozone finance ministers want to clinch an interim debt deal with Greece on Wednesday.<br /><br /> Athens wants to strike an agreement on stop gap financing that would last until September. <br /><br /> EU officials refuse to counter the possibility that the country could leave the single currency.<br /><br /> “Grexit is not his (Juncker’s) scenario, he has spent 3 years of his life as Eurogroup chief to ensure that Greece will not leave the eurozone, and that Greece will not be kicked-out of the eurozone, and now that the overall situation is calmer, there is no reason to consider such scenario,” said a Commission spokeswoman.<br /><br /> Syriza, led by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, won power in Greece last month on a promise to end austerity and lighten the country’s debt load.<br /><br /> But Germany, for one, has insisted that it must stick to commitments made under the previous government.
