Police in the Philippines say results of a preliminary DNA test show that a senior member of a group linked to al-Qaeda has been killed.<br /><br />The operation ended a police manhunt that lasted a decade, but also cost 44 lives of police commandos.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jamela Alindogan reports from Manila.
