The man in charge of organising the 2022 World Cup football tournament says Qatar has been the victim of "clear bias" from the media.<br /> <br />Hassan al-Thawadi has told Al Jazeera that he believes the focus of the corruption investigation was unfairly on Qatar.<br /> <br />Qatar was cleared of serious wrongdoing in the report that was put together for FIFA, football's governing body, by Michael Garcia, an American lawyer.<br /> <br />Al-Thawadi says Garcia was entrusted with investigating all the countries who bid for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup tournaments, but Qatar was singled out.
