Thousands of Yemenis have protested in many cities across Yemen against the government takeover by Shia Houthi rebels as the threat of civil war increases. <br /><br />The deteriorating situation has forced many countries to close their embassies including the United States and Saudi Arabia.<br /> <br />It all comes as the United Nations is warning of dire consequences if a solution is not reached.
