The UN special envoy to Syria is travelling to Damascus in a bid to reduce fighting that has intensified in Aleppo.<br /> <br />The country's largest province has become the centre of the conflict between moderate armed groups, the government and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.<br /> <br />Al Jazeera's Caroline Malone reports.
