The UN special envoy to Syria is heading to Damascus on Monday, to try to scale down the violence in the country.<br /><br />Staffan de Mistura has had some assurances from the government that it will stop all aerial bombardments on the city of Aleppo for six weeks.<br /><br /> <br />Al Jazeera's James Bays reports.
