Our chef Archana Arte brings to you the popular and tasty Maharashtrian Upvas (fast) snack recipe Sabudana Vada/Wada in Marathi which is very simple & quick to make at home! <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />250 gms Sabudana (Sago) <br />5 to 6 Boiled & Mashed <br />150 gms Groundnut Powder <br />4 to 5 Green Chillies <br />1 tsp Cumin Seeds <br />Salt to taste <br /> <br />साहित्य <br />२५० gms साबुदाणा <br />५ ते ६ उकडलेले व कुस्करलेले बटाटे <br />१५० gms शेंगदाणा कुट <br />४ ते ५ हिरव्या मिरच्या <br />१ tsp जिरं <br />मीठ <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- In a bowl, take boiled potatoes and mash them. <br />- Add green chillies, cumin seeds, groundnut powder, salt & sabudana to the mashed potatoes. <br />- Mix all the ingredients well. <br />- In a pan, heat oil for frying. <br />- Make medium size round vadas and keep them ready for frying. <br />- Once the oil is hot, add the vadas and fry them till golden brown. <br />- Serve the pipping hot Sabudana Vadas with coconut chutney.
