Sabudana Vada is one of those recipe that is during fasting(upvas). Its crispy and delicious and can be made as a morning or evening snack. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />2 boiled potato <br />1cup soaked sabudana (sago) <br />30gm roasted peanuts coarsly ground <br />5-6 green chillies finely chopped <br />1tbsp ginger paste <br />1tbsp roasted cumin seeds <br />salt to taste <br />1tbsp sugar <br />1 lemon juice <br />1tbsp corn flour (optional) <br />1tbsp sesame seeds <br />half cup coriander leaves chopped <br />oil for deep frying <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- Soak the sabudana (sago) in water for 2-3 hours. Drain of all the water from soaked sabudana. <br />- In a bowl, mashed boiled potatoes, soaked sabudana (sago), coarsely roasted peanuts, green chillies, <br />ginger paste, cumin seeds, salt to taste, sugar, lemon juice, corn flour, sesame seeds and coriander leaves. <br />- Mix the entire mixture well <br />- Grease your palm with little oil <br />- Take some portion of the mixture and shape them into flat round vadas or patties or with heart shape mold. <br />- Deep fry the sabudana vadas in hot oil till golden brown <br />- Remove excess oil from it. <br /> <br />Serve it hot. <br /> <br />Sabudana Vada or Petties is served with sweet curd(yogurt) or tomato sauce. <br /> <br />Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=teamworkfood <br /> <br />For More Video Log onto: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=teamworkfood <br /> <br />Copyrights: Teamwork Entertainment.
