President Park Geun-hye, who's currently in the Middle East, said... the attack on Ambassador Lippert one that is directed at the Seoul-Washington alliance... and it's simply unacceptable.<br />Her aides say...<br />the president was appalled upon hearing the news,... roughly half-an-hour after it occurred.<br />She expressed her hope for the ambassador's prompt recovery... and expressed her regret to his family and U.S. President Barack Obama.<br />The Korean government says it will do all that's necessary to resolve the case, in close cooperation with the U.S..
