Indonesia has rejected an Australian proposal for a prisoner exchange and says two Australians convicted of drug trafficking will be executed within days. <br /><br />Myuran Sukumaran, 33, and Andrew Chan, 31, have been transferred to the prison island of Nusakambangan, where the executions are scheduled to take place. <br /><br />Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop proposed the exchange two days ago, a ministry spokesman said, but Bishop’s Indonesian counterpart said there was no legal framework in Indonesia that would allow a prisoner swap. <br /><br />Nine other convicts, most of them foreigners, are also facing execution by firing squad.
