Learn from our Chef Archana, how to make Sheera. Sheera is a sweet vegetarian dessert recipe made of Rawa (semolina/suji). Sheera is also served as a holy offering (Prasad) in India. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />1 Cup Rawa (semolina/suji) <br />1 Cup Ghee <br />1 Cup Sugar <br />2 Cups Milk <br />Dry Fruits (Almonds, Cashews & Raisins) <br />1 tsp Elaichi Powder <br /> <br />साहित्य: <br />१ कप रवा <br />१ कप तूप <br />१ कप साखर <br />२ कप दूध <br />सुका मेवा (बदाम, काजु, मनुका) <br />१ वेलची पावडर <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- In a pan, add ghee and let it melt completely. <br />- Once the ghee melts, add rawa and mix well. Roast the rawa in the ghee till it becomes golden brown. <br />- In the meanwhile, boil the milk. <br />- Add dry fruits to the rawa and mix well. <br />- Add boiling milk to the rawa in batches and mix well. <br />- Add sugar and again mix well. <br />- Cover it with a lid and let the sheera cook for 5 mins. <br />- Add elaichi powder and mix well. <br />- Sheera is ready to be served.
