At a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the launch of cable television in Korea, President Park Geun-hye said the broadcasting industry is a comprehensive package of everything related to a creative economy.<br />She said the industry sits at the center of a convergence of cultural arts, video arts, and information and communications, and that merging Korean culture with world-class ICT will help the cable industry become Korea's next growth engine.<br />At the award ceremony held hours later,...
