One day after Venezuela's National Assembly passed a law allowing President Nicolas Maduro to take executive action in defense of the country, rail workers in Caracas marched against United States intervention. At a mass rally the same day, Maduro said he intends to send a letter to President Barack Obama, signed by 10 million people (one third of Venezuela's population), demanding the revocation of the recent decree labeling Venezuela a threat to the national security of the United States. teleSUR
