President Park has asked the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties for their cooperation in ensuring the implementation of deals signed with Middle Eastern countries during her recent trip.<br />This, to help revive the local economy and benefit the Korean people and companies.<br />Meeting her presidential election rival Moon Jae-in, now the opposition party leader, for the first time in two years, she stressed that her administration's policies can only be materialized with parliamentary support.<br />Moon promised that support but did point out that the government has failed to improve Korean people's livelihoods with its economic and welfare policies.<br />He then urged the government to adopt a policy of increasing household income to spur domestic demand.<br />Moon also said Seoul should first seek to boost economic cooperation with Pyongyang and make efforts to hold an inter-Korean summit this year.
