Another seemingly uncomfortable subject between the U.S. and China is the China-led Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank. <br />At a regular press briefing on Tuesday, U.S. State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said... the decision on whether to join the AIIB rests squarely with each sovereign country, including South Korea.<br />But Psaki added that the multilateral institution should closely follow the high standards established at the World Bank... and other regional development banks as well.<br />Britain announced last week that it would join the bank,... becoming the first western country to do so... followed by France, Germany and Italy.
