Latam countries back Caracas at OAS meeting

At a special session of the Organization of American States (OAS) on Thursday, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez, citing historical precedents, charged that President Barack Obama's executive order declaring Venezuela a threat to US national security could be a prelude to a military intervention. US representatives denied any such intention, but Latin American representatives at the OAS meeting rallied to Venezuela's defense, calling on Obama to revoke his executive order.
