Add to that a lack of self-identity, and an onslaught of negative images to choose from as the apparent alternative. Do be advised that "who we are" (in the natural realm) is a subject that sparks much debate, and no hour and a half long video can answer it all...so there will be plenty of information that you MIGHT need to pause and read, indeed. <br />My intent was to share what was learned OVERALL on my journey as a young black man in the ghetto who understandably wondered the same things about my heritage, self-image and place in history and Scripture. You can be glad that the lines (lineage) have fallen for you in pleasant places and that you have a goodly heritage.Yet Matthew 12:48 lets us make NO mistake.
