<p>Twelve people were injured when a building exploded and collapsed in the East Village of New York City on March 26. Three of the injured were in critical condition, according to local reports</a>.</p><br /><p>This eyewitness video shows the scene after the explosion until the fire broke out.</p><br /><p>NYPD officials told CBS New York</a> early indications are that it was a gas explosion.</p><p>The incident was reported around 3:20 pm local time at 7th Street and 2nd Avenue.
