A quick-thinking driver saved a school bus full of kids after the vehicle erupted in flames Friday outside a California middle school, fire officials said. <br /> <br />The motorist, who has not yet been identified, safely evacuated the Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School students after the bus engine caught fire shortly after 8 a.m., the Orange County Fire Authority said. <br /> <br />The front of the school bus was engulfed in flames before it exploded, shocking video shows. <br /> <br />“The bus driver is a hero,” the Fire Authority tweeted. <br /> <br />There were no reported injuries. It was unclear how many students were on board. <br /> <br />The fire was under control in less than a half-hour, authorities said.
