Sabarkantha: The Agriculture Department of the district is facing charges of scam in tractor subsidy. Embezzlement to the tune of Rs.80 lakh has come to light. Of the total 3600, subsidy for 167 tractors has been acquired by producing bogus stamps and signatures of Regional Transport Office (RTO), claims RTO official. On asking about the same to the official of Agriculture Department, he trashed the allegations and said there are no irregularities at all.
