Ahmedabad: Gujarat University (GU) syndicate passed a resolution for removal of professor Sharman Zala of School of Social Sciences, accused of writing lewd letters to three women professors but the vice chancellor MN Patel takes soft stand towards Zala. Patel said that on humanitarian grounds, Zala will be asked to opt for compulsory retirement scheme (CRS).
