They say that a dog is a man’s best friend. <br />So it should be expected that if you bring another dog into the place they call home – to compete with the affections of their owner – they are not going to be too happy about it. <br />Videoed in a living room, the huge Newfoundland is featured lying on the ground next to a foster dog. <br />Named Sebastian, the Newfoundland can be heard growling slightly – albeit while its tail wags – as its owner asks it whether it likes the new dog. <br />The dog replies with a number of barks, which causes the foster dog to look around at the camera with a sorrowful look on its face. <br />Suddenly from nowhere the voice of reason can be heard from the side of the camera. <br />A little girl says: ‘No mum, he loves him,’ before explaining to Sebastian that the foster dog is only staying for a couple of days. <br />Sebastian replies by dropping his head, as if taking her words on board. <br />Repeating the child’s sentiment, the mother reiterates to Sebastian that the dog will not be there forever. <br />And although the Newfoundland continues to whine he appears to be much more settled then before. <br />The video concludes with the video maker explaining to the dog that everything will be okay. <br />Before the adorable little girl suggesting that at the very least the new dog is someone for Sebastian to play with.
