Media reports in Russia say the government is ready to offer financial help to the Greek prime minister when he visits Moscow this week.<br /><br /> Alexis Tsipras is due in Russia on Wednesday for talks with President Vladimir Putin.<br /><br /> One newspaper in Moscow, Kommersant, says a discount on gas supplies and new loans may be considered.<br /><br /> Athens has embarked on a series of high-level visits; on Monday the Greek finance minister was in Washington. <br /><br /> Yanis Varoufakis told reporters: “The Greek government always meets all of its obligations to all of its creditors and that is what we intend to do ad infinitum.”<br /><br /> Meanwhile, Greece’s call for Germany to pay reparations for the Nazi occupation of the country is gaining momentum.<br /><br /> The country’s deputy finance minister said on Monday that Berlin owed Athens 279 billion euros.
