In Panama, the Summit of the Americas begins today. Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro said over 13 million people have signed the petition calling on the U.S. to repeal its decree against the country. Thousands marched across Colombia to support peace talks between the government and FARC rebels. In Moscow, Syria's government and opposition groups agreed to release a joint statement.
