A Ghanaian mortician at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana says that part of his training included sleeping with corpses so that he wouldn’t be afraid of dead bodies. <br /><br />Sharkur Lucas told the host of Ghanaian news program, Adomonline, that once he became a seasoned mortician, the necrophilia continued because women weren’t interested in marrying a “mortuary man.” Lucas says he has satisfied himself “many, many times.”<br /><br />Since doing the interviews, Lucas has been fired and claims he’s wanted by authorities.<br /><br />A 1989 study of 34 necrophilia cases at Case Western Reserve University found that 68% were motivated by a desire for a non-rejecting partner.
