In central Taiwan, parents lodged a complaint against a homeroom teacher who had been substituting for two months.<br /><br />Students told their parents that the teacher yelled at them everyday. He went through their bags everyday to make sure they didn't have anything worth confiscating. <br /><br />One student said he punished her by not allowing her to eat lunch and that when he was in a bad mood he forced students to sit in a desk in the corner that faced a wall.<br /><br />The parents met with school officials to file their complaints but before school authorities could take any actions the substitute teacher quit.
