This is one heartbreaking story for fans of exotic cars.<br /><br />On Wednesday morning, less than a day after getting the keys to his new McLaren P1, its owner crashed it in a road accident on McKinnon Street, Dallas, Texas when he lost control of the car and slammed into a roadside guardrail.<br /><br />Fortunately, thanks to the McLaren P1’s carbon fibre monocoque, the cabin was able to protect the driver and his 24-year-old passenger.
